What is the specific function of each instrument connector? Will it come into contact with the process medium?
The instrument connector is definitely in contact with the medium, and its main function is to facilitate disassembly and maintenance
Regarding the interface size for instruments on that device, should it be the size of the instrument connector or the size of the connection tube (protective sleeve) on the device?
Simply put, an instrument joint is used to connect two instrument tubes of different types and specifications, serving as a bridge between them; it also facilitates disassembly and maintenance. It is certainly in contact with the process pipes!
