How to convert between pound and kilogram units for valve pressure ratings

The last edit to this post was made by JFTANG726 on 2009-8-8 at 22:02. I’m asking for some advice: valve pressure ratings are given in pounds and kilograms – how do these correspond to each other? Once the pressure is determined, can the flanges also be matched accordingly?

It’s better to refer to the table for accurate values
Pressure rating comparison: CLASS150, 300, 400, 600, 800, 900, 1500, 2500. Nominal pressure in MPa: 1.6, 2.0, 2.5, 4.0, 5.0, 6.3, 10, 13, 15, 25, 42
Weight class: 150, 300, 400, 600, 800, 900, 1500, 2500. Class: Nominal pressure – 1.6, 2.5, 4.0, 6.3, 10.0, ---, 15.0, 25.0, 42.0. PN (Mpa): 2.0, 5.0
When using pound-class valves, they need to be matched with pound-class flanges. Note: The HG standards for the chemical industry include both American and European series, and the temperature reference points for these two series are different.
