I heard that in a salt dissolution tank used in saline solutions (where the salt inside is constantly dissolving and the solution remains at full level), it is possible to measure the salt level. The radio frequency admittance level gauge is a good choice; we use this type of gauge to measure the interface between alkaline solutions and water as well, and it works well without sticking to the walls.

We use float level gauges or baffle level gauges; they are both simple and effective. The original poster should give them a try.
It can’t be measured using radio frequency admittance; it’s a solid material, and calibration with a cursor is necessary, which is troublesome. An ultrasonic level gauge should work for this purpose.
