Shanxi Tianji Coal Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. originally used a Lurgi reformer to synthesize 300,000 tons of ammonia. Gas purification uses traditional processes such as wet desulfurization, low-temperature methanol washing, and liquid nitrogen washing to obtain hydrogen, which then reacts with nitrogen generated by the air separation unit into the synthesis tower to generate ammonia. After the company expanded its 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia production to 450,000 tons, the gas purification part used the PSA method to replace the traditional wet process. It was the first domestic large-scale synthetic ammonia device to adopt this process. The winning bid for the project was RMB 45.13 million.
