The dimethyl ether plant is equipped with a starting electric furnace; for a capacity of 50,000 tons, the power of such a furnace is estimated to be around 1500 kW. It is unclear whether a transformer with a voltage conversion ratio of 6000 VA is necessary during design, or whether 380 V voltage will be sufficient
A voltage of 380 is sufficient, but the installation location should be as close as possible to the low-voltage transformer.
