Dimethyl ether

The raw material methanol is pumped into the methanol intermediate tank, and after being preheated by a methanol feed pump in the methanol preheater, it enters the vaporization tower. The reboiler of the vaporization tower is heated by low-pressure steam; the methanol gas emerging from the vaporization tower undergoes heat exchange before entering the reactor in two streams: one enters from the top, and the other from above the second catalyst bed. The reaction gas exiting the reactor enters the crude methyl ether storage tank after heat exchange and condensation. Crude dimethyl ether is pumped into the distillation tower by a feed pump, while the vapor at the top of the tower is condensed in a condenser and then recycled. The product is obtained from the upper part of the distillation tower, measured, and then sent to a storage tank. The distillation column bottom liquid first enters the bottom liquid storage tank and then is sent to the vaporization tower, where the methanol is recovered by stripping and used as a raw material in the reactor. The process wastewater obtained from the tower bottom is sent outside the boundary area.
