How to divide an ellipse into 7 equal parts starting from a specified point on it?
Hehe, for this I usually use my own VLISP code; by simply entering equal division values, it’s possible to divide a curve into equal parts. However, it’s not possible to divide an ellipse in this way. I hope the original poster can find a method for drawing such shapes to solve this issue. I’m here to support you. You’ve encountered this kind of problem before, huh? I think I’ll first let everyone share their own approaches; I’ll reply with my own method tomorrow
Here’s how I do it: First, draw a line through the point on the ellipse and the center of the ellipse; this can be done using the XLINE command. Next, cut off half of it. Then, divide the remaining part into 7 equal segments using the constant division feature. Do the same for the other half. Finally, remove any unnecessary auxiliary lines, and the task is complete
