There are pilot lights on each burner, which serve two purposes: they are used to ignite the main burner when starting up the furnace; and they burn any unburned fuel when shutting down the furnace
The pilot light on the heating furnace and the similar one on the torch are, in fact, accessories added for ignition and to prevent the nozzle from going out; they can be regarded as devices for continuous ignition. The type of pilot light is chosen depending on the design of the nozzle, and its materials are usually alloys with good heat resistance or ceramic materials that are resistant to oxidation and fire.
Each burner in a heating furnace consists of a main burner and a pilot light. The function of the pilot light is to ignite the main burner at the start of operation; it remains lit throughout normal combustion, which is why it’s called a pilot light (hehe, that’s my personal opinion). Its main purpose is to prevent the main burner from going out (the main burner and the pilot light serve to ensure each other’s functionality).

In addition to the functions mentioned above, this is also needed when heating the furnace: first light the permanent lamp to raise the temperature gradually before turning on the main burner
The pilot light on the surface burner has an opening size of 2.0–2.5 mm; at an inlet pressure of 0.05 MPA, the flame height can reach 1.0 M, while the height of the intense flame is 0.4–0.6 M. This is to ensure that the flame remains lit even during typhoons of level 12. The burner is equipped with a flame detector and an automatic ignition system, with a gas consumption rate of 5.0 KG/H.
What kind of heating furnace with an extended flame? Personally, I note that it is related to the furnace load. Heating furnaces with a capacity of 1.0 MW or less do not require a pilot light, while those with a capacity of over 1.0 MW need one. Many modern heating furnaces no longer use a continuous flame; the flame is extinguished once the main burner is lit.
An eternal light is a safety measure that requires high standards for fuel. Modern industrial furnaces are gradually being replaced by monitoring facilities.
The so-called ever-burning lamp, as the name suggests, means something that does not go out. The main functions of a pilot light are as follows: 1. To ignite the main burner. In some burners, in addition to a pilot light, there is also a pilot ignition burner, and automatic ignition is used for lighting. A perpetual light refers to one that remains lit continuously; as a testing measure accompanying the main burner, it generates 0.022 MW of heat. Light the permanent lamp first, then the main gas burner. If the eternal flame goes out, or if the brightness of multiple burners exceeds a certain level, a cascade shutdown is considered
I just found out that it’s a perpetual light, a device used to light the main fire, located next to the main fire
