We use 1.1MPa gas phase chlorine. Does anyone know what pressure level the valves and flanges should be equipped with? Is it better to use concave and convex surfaces or tongue and groove surfaces?
It must be at least 2.5MPa level. It doesn't matter whether it is a concave and convex surface or a tongue and groove surface. What matters is the choice of gasket. It is best to use PTFE.
For 2.5MPa grade, it is recommended to use tongue and groove flange for chlorine gas.
