Dear administrators, my post at http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-130626-1-1.html was deducted 5 points and labeled as \"aggressive\" because I used the term \"devils\" to refer to foreigners; I think this is very unfair! 1. The reviewers don’t look at the content of my post. If I really want to attack foreigners, why post their explanations? Wouldn’t that be contradictory? The grader actually didn’t understand the true meaning of my entire post at all, which is why they made such an arbitrary decision. My post is purely for discussing issues; I have no intention of targeting anyone at all. II. Calling foreigners “devils” often doesn’t carry much malice; it’s just a casual joke and certainly doesn’t constitute an attack. Even if the wording was inappropriate, there was no intention to attack at all; deducting 5 points is way too much. Third, the content of my posts is sincere and thoroughly researched; I’ve put in effort to share them, so it should be given extra points. I ask the management to make a wise decision and revoke the points deducted from me, so as not to demotivate those who are truly committed to discussing technical issues. Thank you! I saw this post in the Interpretation club today; I never expected the original poster to get such a large response. Actually, there are two aspects to this: 1. The person who deducted points, engineer sirsdj, might have assumed that you had some issue with a certain member and said so for that reason. I saw their reply: “Replying to the post in floor 1: After searching, no user with the name ‘Ghost Engineer’ was found. If such a user does exist, please ask the administrator to remove the penalty.” ” 2. The main issue was that quotes were not used around the word “ghosts”; if quotes had been added, there would be no problem. Quotes indicate a special meaning, giving it a somewhat playful tone. I don’t think this post violates any rules, but I still hope the original poster will revise it to avoid misunderstandings.
Thank you to the moderator upstairs for their keen observation. Thank you!
The rating has been removed, I checked. It must have been a misunderstanding
