Chlorine water is derived from the condensate water resulting from the washing of chlorine gas at the outlet of the electrolyzer and its subsequent cooling; the equipment in these two locations is connected to the chlorine gas phase and operates under negative pressure, thus serving as a dechlorination process. Therefore, it is likely uneconomical (due to high energy consumption) to carry out vacuum dechlorination on chlorine water separately. So, 1. Generally, chlor-alkali companies produce sodium hypochlorite (with low-concentration sodium hypochlorite being used for acetylene purification and high-concentration versions serving as a product). 2. Chlorine water can be used to produce the water treatment agent polyaluminum chloride. 3. It is used to remove algae in cooling towers and for acetylene purification, thus enabling a circular economy! ! ! 4. Our facility is used to produce sodium hypochlorite or to directly produce bleaching solutions for supply to paper mills
We use decolorization and oxidation as wastewater treatment.
In our metal anode cell system, part of the chlorine water is used to treat inorganic ammonium in brine, while the other part is discharged for waste treatment!
