However, since they are amorphous substances, they are suitable for use in filling insulation spaces, but not for wrapping around pipes and equipment to provide insulation ; 3. Inorganic fiber insulation materials such as rock wool, glass wool, and aluminum silicate fibers have low thermal conductivity, providing good insulation properties; they can also be used in high-temperature environments. Although they are relatively expensive, they can be made into forms such as fiber cloth or felt, are easy to handle, and are suitable for wrapping around pipes and equipment to provide insulation ; Among them, aluminum silicate fibers have the best high-temperature performance, while rock wool and glass wool tend to shrink and deform under high temperatures, thereby reducing their insulation efficiency ; 4. Recently, phosphate insulation muds have emerged; they are easy to apply on-site and offer a decent level of insulation performance. 1.
