Resistance problem

Our fan coupling has inlet and outlet oil temperature measurement. The problem is that the outside temperature is very low, but the outlet oil temperature is lower than the inlet oil temperature. Why? There is no problem with the resistance.
Could it be that the resistor is not in contact with the oil...the air temperature is measured...???
Exchange the instruments again, rule out the possibility of resistance and instruments, and then check the installation. Another possibility is a cable issue.

First check the resistance, then use a process signal meter (standard resistance box is also acceptable) to add a signal to detect whether there is a problem with the cable and DCS or secondary instrument, and finally check the installation position.
