It is currently a peak period for the development of coal chemical engineering, yet many university programs related to this field have been discontinued or merged into chemical engineering programs. In my opinion, this has many drawbacks, as many specialized knowledge areas can no longer be taught. What do people think are the best ways to reform university programs in coal chemical engineering? Of course, other majors are facing the same problem now; let’s see if anyone has any good suggestions.
Our school doesn’t have a major in coal chemical engineering, which is indeed a shortcoming. The field of coal chemistry is developing rapidly these days, and there’s a need for specialized research! It is recommended that schools with the necessary resources offer this major.
Our school has an Institute of Clean Coal, and it seems that undergraduates are now focusing on Chemical Process and Engineering; relatively speaking, postgraduates may pursue specializations in coal chemical engineering
