I am in urgent need of information on the operating procedures for distillation towers and distillation kettles. Everyone, please help spread the word!
This is a summary of the product introduction for distillation kettles produced by Wuxi Chenghai Precision Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd.; I hope it’s useful! Points to note during the installation inspection of the distillation kettle: 1. The pipelines should be as short as possible, with as few bends as possible. Typically, the diameter of the pipeline leading to the main vacuum pump needs to be increased by one size. 2. Equipment and pipelines shall use vacuum-specific flanges, valves, and fittings. The flange is equipped with an O-ring rubber seal. 3. After the system is installed, a tightness check of the system must be performed. The ultimate vacuum under no-load conditions should be within the range permitted by the design specifications. 4. Operations must be carried out strictly in accordance with the procedural guidelines. In particular, vacuum pre-degassing and secondary degassing operations must be carried out strictly; otherwise, the system cannot operate properly. Safety precautions during the operation of distillation kettles: 1. In addition to strengthening training on safety rules and on-site safety management, it is also necessary to ensure proper maintenance of the equipment. 2. Prevent the formation of explosive mixtures; clean the structures within the pipelines promptly, control the flow rates of inlet and outlet materials, use explosion-proof safety equipment with proper grounding, and ensure that operations are carried out safely with appropriate settings. 3. To prevent excessive processes from causing the material to evaporate rapidly and leading to a sharp increase in system pressure, it is necessary to keep the pipes of the distillation system unobstructed at all times. 4. To prevent dangerous high pressures caused by blockages in pipeline valves, a check valve that allows flow in only one direction should be installed on the vacuum pump. 5. Prevent air from entering the system during sudden shutdowns, which could cause an explosion.
