Method for directly heating the distributor: Heat water directly with steam. Our facility often experiences vibrations; people call it a pneumatic hammer, but I don’t know exactly how to drill the holes in the distributor, or what size the holes should be to prevent such vibrations. When steam is used for direct pipeline mixing heating of water and other liquids, sudden changes in steam pressure and flow rate cause alternating increases and decreases in pressure; this phenomenon is known as water hammer, or sometimes steam hammer. Steam hammers not only cause liquid to splash and potentially injure people, but they also exert tremendous force on pipes and associated equipment, leading to the loosening of flanges, welds, etc.; in severe cases, this can result in safety accidents.
