How is the combined cross-sectional area of the web and stiffeners in the horizontal steel container module calculated? The combined cross-sectional area of the web and stiffeners is relatively easy to calculate. For the combined cross-sectional bending mold of the web and stiffeners, please refer to pages 1-59 of the new version of the Mechanical Design Manual 1. It is simple and easy to calculate. If it is a more complex combination, it will be more troublesome.
For regular cross-sections, the software automatically calculates them.
