It is a multi-stage small alkali pump; when it is in operation, the outlet pressure gauge reaches almost its full scale. There is medium when the drain valve is opened. Ugh, it seems that the outlet pipe or valve is blocked for now; maybe it’s because of the cold weather, which has caused freezing inside the pipes. Does anyone have any good ways to solve this problem? The outlet valve is good, and the pump is good too!
First, analyze the areas most likely to get clogged and look for problems there; or tap along the pipes and use the sound to try and identify any issues.
What base? Caustic soda? Industrial soda ash? Is it because the weather is cold, causing the medium to crystallize? If that’s the case, find a place as mentioned above and proceed with processing it! After restoration, adding heat tracing to the pipeline will solve the problem.
Melt it with a steam pipe, then mix it while heating. Or change the concentration of the alkaline solution.
All of our alkali pipes are equipped with steam tracing; steam is turned on in winter to prevent the pipes from clogging. What kind of alkali is used in your pipes, and what is the diameter of the pipes? Use a wooden hammer to strike and locate the blockage, clean it out, then install steam tracing around the pipe and cover it with insulation.
To clarify what medium is used, for our larger pipelines we originally used steam, while for the smaller ones we used welding machines for heating or oxygen for heating

Usually, we tap on the pipes to locate the point of blockage and then isolate it; if freezing is the cause, steam or hot water is likely needed to resolve the issue. If the blockage is caused by some other factor, then action must be taken based on that specific cause.
For alkalis, it crystallizes; use steam to blow from the outside, bending the nozzle to direct the stream inside the pipe. Listen to the sound of the pipes; if there is a long blockage, it may be necessary to install temporary piping.
