I saw a ball valve today, the model Q11F-64P. What does the number 64 mean in this model?
What does 6.4MPA mean? Threaded connection, floating soft-sealed ball valve; valve body material: 0Cr18Ni9Ti
PN – Nominal pressure, 64 kilograms, which is equivalent to 6.4 MPa
64 denotes 64 kg/cm2 (kilogram-force), which is the nominal pressure (Pg) according to the old standards; this is approximately equal to 6.4 Mpa. The new nominal pressure is denoted as PN, with the unit being Mpa. Q11F-64P: Here, Q stands for ball valve; the first digit 1 indicates that the connection type is threaded internal connection, the second 1 means the valve structure is straight-through type. F denotes that the material used for the valve’s sealing surface is fluoroplastic (usually polytetrafluoroethylene). 64 represents the details mentioned above, and P indicates that the valve is made of stainless steel. Thank you for the answer. :handshake :handshake :handshake
P indicates that the valve body material is 1CrNi9Ti
It is 6.4 MPa, which is equivalent to 64 Kg/cm^2
Q11F-64P Q-ball valve: 11–threaded connection; F–floating ball; 64–pressure rating of 6.4 MPa; P–material, stainless steel
