Is the combined platform in the plant area generally handled by the equipment department or the civil engineering department? For example, when calculating the span bridge between two adjacent towers, what factors need to be taken into account? Are there any disadvantages to rigidly connecting adjacent towers with a bridge?
There is no definite conclusion; the former major design institutes of the Ministry of Chemical Industry also adopted a division into civil engineering and equipment categories. If a rigid connection across the bridge is designed for two adjacent towers, with the load point on the towers, it is best to have the mechanical engineering team handle this task, as there are reinforcement designs involved in the machinery.
