What is the proportion of designers among the staff in the design firm?
Only 30% of our team are engaged in design work; the rest serve as project managers, handle preliminary tasks, and are responsible for planning.
Designers make up a small portion of our team; the majority are support staff!
I think around 70% would be appropriate; there shouldn’t be too many managers and support staff. If a design institute transforms into an engineering company (excluding construction), about 50% of the staff will remain as designers.
