When welding carbon steel and stainless steel, ordinary welding electrodes are generally used; for welding stainless steels with higher Cr and Mo contents, electrodes such as A302 and A307 (containing 25% Cr and 13% Mo) are preferred when welding 20# steel with 0Cr18Ni9 steel. No heat treatment is generally carried out after welding.
