Please help me by providing the investment costs for the following decarbonization processes.: scale: 20,000 tons methanol decarbonization process: 1. Carbon-propane method 2. PSA pressure swing adsorption 3. NHD method The approximate cost is enough. It would be better if you can provide more details. Thank you very much!
Discuss: 1. Is the poster's proposal to produce 20,000 tons of methanol per year (personal understanding, the poster did not specify the time) a small scale, or is it a new joint alcohol project based on the original ammonia synthesis plant? 2. If it is a joint alcohol project, the decarbonization process must be matched with the original ammonia synthesis device, and it is not appropriate to change the decarbonization method. 3. For small methanol plants, cold methods (NHD, carbon propylene) do not have advantages. PSA has certain advantages due to its inherent characteristics of no operating equipment (except vacuum pumps) and almost no maintenance. 4. I personally believe that the reasonable scale for NHD decarbonization is at least 100,000 tons of methanol per year.
First of all, thank you zjyang168168 for your answer. Coal-to-methanol now requires investment in various decarbonization processes
2006* * * * The National Development and Reform Commission issued the "Notice on Strengthening the Construction and Management of Coal Chemical Projects to Promote the Healthy Development of the Industry". Generally, coal-to-liquid projects with an annual output of less than 3 million tons, methanol and dimethyl ether projects with an annual output of less than 1 million tons, and coal-to-olefin projects with an annual output of less than 600,000 tons should not be approved. Is it still possible to start a 100,000-ton methanol project?
It is an experimental device with a total scale of 200,000 tons/year. Can you give an approximate number? Thank you very much!
I am not very familiar with propylene carbonate decarbonization, and I personally believe that it is not appropriate to choose propylene carbonate decarbonization at an annual methanol production scale of 200,000 tons. I will briefly reply to the investment in the other two processes as follows for reference.: 1. Equipment investment·PSA: 25 million yuan·NHD: 36 million yuan 2. Operating costs (yuan/ton of methanol) ·PSA: 35 yuan (annualized operating costs: 7 million yuan) ·NHD: 60 yuan (annual operating cost is 12 million yuan) 3. From the above comparison, the advantages of PSA are more obvious, but there is one problem that cannot be ignored, that is, no matter what process configuration PSA adopts, the effective gas (H2 and CO, especially CO) in the gas will have a loss of approximately 1% (with the reverse gas discharge), which will result in an annual impact of 2,000 tons of methanol production. However, certain measures can be taken to recover and utilize this part of the reverse gas. This post was last edited by zjyang168168 on 2008-1-5 09:38 ]
Thank you very much! For these three process investments, NHD>PSA>Carbon Acrylic? Then how much is the investment for Carbon Acrylic on a scale of 200,000 tons? Does anyone know, thank you!
