Regarding mechanical polishing

I would like to ask everyone: for those types of tanks that require mechanical polishing of their inner surfaces, what is the typical roughness level required?
The inner surfaces of equipment such as reaction vessels and polymerization tanks need to be polished. In general, the inner surfaces of equipment used for media that are prone to polymerization require polishing to achieve a surface finish often referred to as a mirror finish; in reality, this means a surface roughness of 1.6 or less. Of course, the requirements vary depending on the type of medium. What I encountered was that \"most of the process vessels and internal components in the acrylic plant need to be polished.\" I’m not sure if this is correct; please correct me if I’m wrong!
