I’m not very familiar with the entire workflow, so I hope everyone can discuss it and give me some information. How is the control of a factory’s process flow achieved? Starting from 0, what processes are carried out to achieve control over the flow? I’ll first share my understanding; please let me know if it’s correct, and if there’s anything I’ve missed, feel free to point it out. The process design defines the process flow, and there are many points in their process flow that require control or monitoring; the signal points for control are determined by the process requirements, right? The interlock/control strategies for the process are also proposed by the process engineering department, which is responsible for drawing the P&ID diagrams as well. The automation department selects appropriate instruments/v valves/control systems to implement these control strategies, and the process of selecting such instruments and valves also determines the type of signals. Hardware configuration for the control department involves planning the system architecture, such as the number of workstations, engineer stations, controllers, and cards, etc. The control department carries out software configuration within the selected control system (or assigns this task to the control system manufacturer) (so, what do they use as a basis for carrying out this configuration?) P&ID drawings, are there any other documents? ) Does that mean the entire process is complete? Thank you
