Common faults and solutions for slide valves, plug valves, and high-temperature butterfly valves: Fault symptoms: 1) Sticking of the valve stem or valve disc； 2) Local damage to the valve stem head or guide rail ； 3) Leakage of the flanged valve cover in the hot-wall slide valve method ； 4) Leakage in the valve stem packing gland ； 5) Local peeling of the lining; the valve body heats up. Fault analysis: 1) Blockage caused by interruption in the purging of the valve stem or guide rails ； 2) Caused by excessive purging ； 3) Damaged or failed gaskets, or deformation of the flange valve cover ； 4) The packing is not properly compressed or has become degraded due to long-term use ； 5) Due to local lining quality issues. Handling method: 1) Open the orifice plate valve and perform a full purge for 3 minutes, then return to normal purging ； 2) Check whether the purge orifice plate is installed or if its aperture is too large ； 3) Replace with new gaskets and apply flexible graphite strips, or switch to a lip seal design ； 4) Inject molybdenum disulfide grease mixed with graphite powder, activate the spare packing, and replace the outer working packing ； 5) Thoroughly remove any locally loose lining, and carry out local repairs in strict accordance with the specified requirements.
