What accessories are required for installing a liquid mass flow meter?
In addition to having valves at the front and back, it is advisable to add a filter as well. There also needs to be a bypass.
It is mainly to avoid vibrations, ensure air traffic control, prevent blockages, and so on. The product comes with installation instructions.
Installing a filter generally doesn’t serve much purpose for Coriolis mass flow meters； In the case of use for trade measurement, it is also not allowed to install a bypass. A support must be added to prevent excessive stress on the flange connection of the mass flow meter
It is necessary to install valves and supports at the front and back when mounting a Coriolis mass flow meter. The former facilitates maintenance, while the latter prevents excessive stress.
The installation of a liquid mass flow meter requires the following: 1. Valves should be installed at the front and back, with a certain distance between them; they cannot be too close together. 2. The pipeline should be straight; the elbow position should not be too close ； 3. When importing, filters with a certain mesh size need to be installed to ensure the accuracy of fluid measurement ； 4. Pipes should be equipped with anti-vibration devices (if vibration occurs) ； 5. Generally, there is no need to install another one; a calibration instrument can be used for calibration ； 6. If production must continue, a bypass needs to be installed to ensure normal operation without any interruption.
The biggest enemy of mass flow meters is vibration; therefore, the pipes must be properly secured. Additionally, there should be no gas in the liquid.
