The work done by the hood is caused by the enthalpy drop in the flue gas, and the enthalpy value is related to both temperature and pressure. For example: The flue gas inlet temperature is 680 degrees and the pressure is 0.2MPa, and the outlet temperature is 505 degrees and the pressure is 1000mmH2O water column, indicating that both temperature and pressure are at work.
The steam balance of the whole plant is not enough, so it is planned to cancel the hood and use flue gas to generate medium-pressure steam. Is it economically worthwhile? The medium-pressure steam generated in the power workshop is to burn catalytic dry gas.
