Overlapped two-stage regeneration is the form of two-regenerator system with the highest energy consumption; incomplete regeneration is also a regeneration method with high energy costs. Moreover, the higher the carbon monoxide concentration, the greater its impact on energy consumption. To completely change this situation regarding energy use, it would be necessary to replace the entire regenerator with one that uses single-stage complete regeneration, but this is not feasible due to constraints related to investment and maintenance periods. After complete regeneration, the processing capacity of the facility is limited by the flow rate of the main air. Therefore, careful consideration must be given when selecting the regeneration scheme and type~~
Increasing the recirculation volume and reducing the recirculation temperature can raise the CO concentration in the flue gas and lower the air consumption rate.
For this form of regeneration, factors such as wind distribution, storage capacity, and regeneration temperature need to be taken into account. What is the nature of the raw materials used in your system? This is very important! The conditions for CO generation require low oxygen levels; an appropriate airflow ratio will improve the degree of charring, allowing as much charring to occur as possible.
