As the number of members and users on our forum continues to grow, as well as the traffic to the forum, it shows that our forum is very successful and has gained recognition and active participation from everyone! However, we often find many repeated posts. In fact, regarding many professional issues or topics that people are particularly interested in, someone has already posted requests for help and started discussions several days earlier; yet later on, others still post requests for help or start discussions on the same topics, receiving the same replies. As a result, our forum’s resources are wasted, while some of those who post and reply see an increase in their ‘wealth’. It gives the impression that people tend to stay on the first few pages of a certain section to read content they like and share their opinions, leaving the older posts, which are highly readable, unnoticed and unaddressed because they are placed further down To a large extent, it wastes forum resources, and there is an increasing amount of redundant junk! Therefore, I suggest that the forum management team strengthen the supervision and punishment of those who post duplicate content, and regularly remove unnecessary junk from the forum! Additionally, we need to improve the search function of our forum; for example, when a new post is created, it should display a message saying “Please first check whether there is already content on the forum that meets your needs!” ! ! ”By providing such prompts, we encourage posters to search first before posting, thereby avoiding waste of resources and **saving time for those looking for information; this allows users to obtain what they need in the shortest possible time, thus effectively enhancing the resource-sharing capabilities of our forum! ! The above are some of my personal, immature suggestions; please consider them!
There’s no need for full blame or immediate punishment! Be more relaxed, okay?
Regarding some repeated posts, I think it’s sufficient to move them to the trash folder; as long as they aren’t intended as malicious spam, there’s no need to deduct points. However, members who repeatedly make such mistakes should be dealt with strictly.
When a new post is made, a message appears saying, “Please first check whether the forum already contains what you’re looking for; posting the same content again will result in points being deducted.” I agree – there should be more guidance and less punishment, so as to encourage everyone to behave in a positive manner. Now the administrators have taken some measures against duplicate posts, and they are quite effective.
Support, with guidance as the main approach and punishment as a supplementary measure!
I agree with the views from the first and second floors; it doesn’t constitute malicious spamming. It’s sufficient to delete such posts or send a warning message. For those who continue to do it despite warnings (after a certain number of posts), more severe penalties should be imposed.
