I have a rather basic question for everyone: regarding various types of pumps, I want to know what the pressure in the pipeline is during transportation, and how can it be calculated?

The pump outlet pressure is related to various factors, and direct calculation also depends on the conditions under which it takes place; therefore, it is recommended to use Bernoulli’s equation.
In production, there’s no need for such high precision when using Bernoulli’s equation; a pressure gauge is sufficient to handle issues related to pressure in those situations. But if it’s for research purposes, then it’s better to have higher precision

You work in design, right? The head of your pump is equal to the pressure of the equipment connected to the pump outlet plus the pipeline resistance, minus the pressure at the pump inlet and the pipeline resistance at the inlet. Make sure the units are consistent.

It is quite inaccurate to say that the pressure at the pump inlet plus the head equals a certain value; the pressure in the pump outlet pipe depends mainly on the pump’s operating curve, rather than simply on its characteristic curve. The value obtained by adding the pressure at the pump inlet to the head is based on the pump’s characteristic curve. Additionally, this value is highly dependent on the density of the medium – lower density results in lower pressure, while higher density leads to higher pressure.
It mainly depends on the back pressure; with a back pressure of 1.0 MPa and various pressure losses, the outlet pressure of the pump is generally around 1.5–1.8 MPa.
