How to convert the volume of a gas at a certain pressure and temperature to standard cubic units? Thank you:handshake
P1*V1 / T1 = P2*V2 / T2. P represents pressure, V represents volume, and T represents temperature. Under different pressure and temperature conditions, a gas of the same mass has different volumes. By using the standard pressure for P2 and the standard temperature for T2, it is possible to determine the standard volume. Haha; this seems to be something covered in high school physics. If it is within the range of an ideal gas, then the value of Vs can be calculated using the ideal gas equation: Vs = PVTs / (T*Ps). Here, Ps, Vs, and Ts represent the pressure (1 atm), volume, and temperature under standard conditions, while P, V, and T represent the pressure, volume, and temperature under actual conditions.
