However, which antifreeze to use must be determined through testing (there are many types of antifreezes, so do not use them randomly); one antifreeze may work well with one type of oil, but it may not work well with another type of oil. This is because the petrochemical components of different oil fields vary, and even the same crude oil can differ when processed by different refineries. Therefore, experiments should be conducted before adding antifreeze agents; if you lack the facilities for such experiments, you can draw on the experience of others who have used the same type of oil. So please use this diesel with a demulsifier, friend.

Indeed, as you said, diesel produced from different crude oils and through different processing methods has varying sensitivity to pour point depressants; therefore tests are necessary first. However, the cold filter point is reduced to varying degrees after the addition of these depressants. Since we are working in collaboration with other companies, the types of pour point depressants used are not clear. Adding 1000PPM of such depressants can reduce the cold filter point by about 4 degrees. About 3 years ago, the price of these depressants was around 10,000 yuan per ton
