What does the 9 in stainless steel welding rod E2209-XX represent? Please share your thoughts
EXXXX; the last digit indicates the type of flux and the welding power supply: 1 – titanium oxide type, DC or AC； Calcium titanate type 2-oxide, DC or AC ； 3-Ilmenite type, DC or AC ； Iron oxide type, DC or AC ； 5-Cellulose type, DC or AC ； 6-Low hydrogen potassium type, DC or AC ； 7-Low-hydrogen sodium type, DC ； 8-Graphite type, DC or AC ； 9-Basic type, DC.
