The side walls of the coal-loading trucks at Shanxi Tai Chong are always covered with coal, which causes the coal to collapse during loading. The problem of coal sticking to these walls is severe and has not been resolved to date. Please give me your guidance! Thank you
1. Strictly control the moisture content of coal fed into the furnace at 9%~11%, based on the test results taken from the coal tower; 2. Clean the residual coal adhering to the coal box once after each batch is loaded ;
Check the flatness of the side walls of the coal tank and make adjustments; we have encountered similar issues before, which were caused by unevenness, and after making the adjustments, the coal sticking problem was resolved!
Heating and insulating the side walls of the coal tank can slow down this phenomenon.
Before loading coal, it is possible to apply used engine oil evenly on the sides of the vehicle; this can help alleviate the problem you mentioned. This method has been used in our factory with good results, so you might want to give it a try
Controlling the moisture content of coal and installing ultra-high molecular weight liners in the containers plays a significant role; such liners do not tend to stick to the coal. Controlling moisture levels, however, is quite difficult. I’m also not sure whether the coal loading vehicles you mentioned are owned by your company, and whether it’s possible to install ultra-high molecular weight liners on them. Smooth plastic liners also provide excellent results.
