Are rotary roasting furnaces expensive? The requirements are: a production capacity of 1,000 kg per day, a temperature of 400 degrees, and a baking time of around 6 hours. I would like to ask experts what the approximate cost would be for a rotary baking furnace in this case?
It’s still impossible to judge based on these. The price mainly depends on the materials and the level of automatic control. We purchased two furnaces here; they have a production capacity of 1,000 kg per hour, an operating temperature of 800 degrees, and a baking time of around 1 hour. Each furnace costs 6 million RMB, and this does not include the costs for installation, but it does include the instrumentation. The equipment is 2 meters wide, 2 meters high, and 24 meters long. As per your requirements, the throughput is very low while the residence time is too long; therefore, the furnace needs to have many baffle plates and other similar components. Ordinary suppliers may not be able to design such a furnace, as otherwise it would become extremely long and narrow. For such baking conditions, it is advisable to use intermittent baking equipment, feeding 350 Kg at a time, raising the temperature to 400 degrees, and carrying out baking with turning over for 6 hours. Including the time for feeding and unloading, with three shifts per day and one operation of feeding, roasting, and unloading per shift, this can meet your requirements. The manufacturer of this special equipment can be found on the color pages of the magazine “Industrial Catalysis”.
Thank you so much! Is this type of furnace has a specific name?
