Seeking advice: Selection of flow meter. Medium: Vacuum distillate oil. Operating temperature: 240–250 degrees. Flow rate: 150–200 kg/h. Oil products can be measured using turbine flowmeters.
It is recommended to use a orifice plate differential pressure flow meter; however, when choosing this type of flow meter, it is necessary to take into account the length of the installation pipeline, and the pipe diameter should not be too small
If the pipe diameter is large, doesn’t that mean a higher flow rate? Yet the requirement is a low flow rate, high temperature, and the fluid in question is oil (with high viscosity) – how can this be achieved?

High-temperature type paddle flow meters or twin-rotor flow meters can be used; they offer high measurement accuracy and low maintenance requirements. If higher precision is not required, an electric target flow meter can also be employed.
