May I ask what software you use to calculate pressure vessel equipment, such as wall thickness and strength?
There are many softwares, and there are two that are recognized in China. One is SW6, the other is LANSYS, and there are so many foreign softwares! The analysis and design software is still Ansys.
Generally, it is SW6, which is selected by Rong Biao Committee.
There's a morning sun in Liaoyang. It seems not too expensive. This is the one I have in my workplace.
The SW6 used in our unit seems to be good.
The national standard is calculated using SW6. The latest version now is version 4.0. However, 4.0 only adds an additional component safety valve for calculation. Overall, I feel that it is not as good as version 3.5 after using it. It seems that there are some in the forum~~~~~~
Our unit also uses SW6-1998 V4.0. This software is relatively popular and easy to apply.
Conventional designs and asmeviii-i container designs include sw6, lansys, pvdesk, pvelite, tank, fe/pipe. and so on. Analysis and design include Ansys and domestic VAS.
Most people use SW6, not many other software, almost no use
