When the equipment manufacturer produced the equipment for our unit, it used flanges that conform to the HG20592 standard instead of those specified by the HG20617 standard. It was only after the equipment was installed that it was discovered that these flanges did not match those required for the pipes. The equipment ordering documents must clearly specify the standard for the tank nozzle flange. A reminder to the original poster: HG20592 is not a specific flange standard; it is an indication for flange identification. You can look up the relevant standard. If the flanges do not match, it is generally necessary to modify the pipeline flanges and the associated equipment, rather than altering the equipment nozzles. :)
HG20592~HG20605 belong to the European system, while HG20615~HG20626 belong to the American system; both have different pressure ratings and flange bore diameters. In such a situation where there is already an error, if the diameters of the two flanges differ by not much (for example, DN80 flanges generally have similar diameters), it is possible to contact the pipeline design team to issue a modification order for a flange that matches the equipment. If the diameter difference is significant, the equipment manufacturer can ask the pipeline construction company to replace the flange on the equipment (provided that the company has the qualifications for modifying pressure vessels), or the manufacturer can send its own people to make the replacement, which is the most straightforward solution.
