Could you please tell me how to calculate the thickness of the E-type tube sheet and the part that also serves as the flange? Are there any requirements for this thickness?
Generally, it is calculated using SW6 software. I have not tried manual calculation. There are too many parameters and it makes my head full. There are no requirements.

If the thickness of the tube plate is calculated to be 20mm, then the thickness of the flange part is only 7mm. At this time, the calculation is also qualified. What should I do if the bolts will deform when they are tightened? What is the basis for this?
