You should be careful when choosing a radar for liquefied gas. Although we have several radars here, the operation is average, which is related to the model and medium of the radar level meter selected. It is recommended to communicate with the manufacturer. If the media has aggregation, the servo cannot be selected. Personally, I feel that storage tanks still need two sets, one with high precision, such as radar servo, etc., and one with low precision but stable and cheap, such as magnetic flip column, glass plate, etc. Because the spherical tank cannot measure the scale, once the radar and servo are inaccurate, the liquid level cannot be judged well.

If you have sufficient funds, you can choose the configuration of radar + feeding suit, in which the feeding suit has a switch. In addition, the quality of the instrument itself is very important, but the role of operation and management cannot be ignored either.
It is best to use servo and glass plate level gauges instead of radar level gauges, because radar level gauges have very poor measurement accuracy when the temperature is high in summer due to the large amount of gas in the tank.; The purpose of selecting two sets of liquid level gauges is to correct the servo measurement error with reference to the glass plate liquid level gauge.

Judging from a project I recently worked on, the magnetostrictive liquid level gauge is more accurate, the imported one is K-TEK, and the domestic one is now better. can be accurately measured. There are relatively few domestic float manufacturers that can provide measurement of liquefied gas, mainly due to pressure resistance considerations. The general working pressure of liquefied gas tanks is 2.5~3MPa, and the ultimate pressure is 4MPa. Then there is the density. The density of liquefied gas is constantly changing. The density of the float must be 0.45 and below for more accurate measurement. The density of liquefied gas in my project is 0.5 to 0.65. I can use a 0.45 float to measure it. Liquefied gas is a sealed tank, and the installation structure must be carefully considered. Generally, a protective sleeve is added. Even if there is a problem with the liquid level gauge, it can be repaired without opening the tank to relieve pressure. The output signal must be a digital signal, and long-distance transmission will not affect signal loss.
:) You can use a magnetic synchronous liquid level gauge, a high-precision, passive servo liquid level gauge. Its driving part is a spring motor. It is based on purely mechanical principles. There is a large pointer meter on site and a remote 4-20mA signal output. It is suitable for tank level measurement of refined oil and liquefied gas. The product looks like a float level gauge and a steel strip level gauge, but it is not the same product at all. Its performance is very reliable and its price is low. I used this product when I was in Daqing in 1991. It was originally a German product and was later made in China. Professionals in the oil field and petrochemical industry are familiar with it, but few people in the instrument industry know about it.
Servo level gauge, this is a better choice, and can be equipped with radar or magnetic flap level gauge as an auxiliary.
