I am currently the moderator of the CAD drawing section and the forum competition events section. I applied to become the moderator of these two sections in order to carry out the tasks related to the CAD competitions that I had planned to handle. To fulfill my promise to hold a CAD competition, I joined the ranks of moderators. By managing the forum sections and communicating with members, I met many people with strong technical skills as well as an excellent management team for the forum. At the same time, my skills in CAD also improved a lot, which was an unexpected benefit. CAD isn’t either my strong point, so when dealing with posts that require quite advanced technical knowledge, I sometimes feel a bit overwhelmed. It’s also impossible to be entirely certain about some issues. Being a moderator is a tough task that requires hard work. Especially in a technical forum like this, I believe that to be a good moderator one must possess solid professional knowledge, as well as a spirit of dedication and commitment, in order to achieve success. I am pleased that the CAD competition was held successfully. I have seen the vitality of the forum, the emergence of outstanding new members, and the future prospects of the forum. Another reason for my request to resign as a moderator is my personal work commitments. In 2008, I had a heavy workload across various areas, with high demands on me; it was necessary to plan carefully, prepare thoroughly, and devote a lot of effort to those tasks, which left me with less time to manage the forum. For the above reasons, I request to resign from my role as moderator; please approve it, administrators. I will continue to pay attention to the forum and contribute to its development.
