I am but an insignificant person! It’s been a short time since I started working, haha. What are heat exchanger process design and cost estimation?
http://scholar.ilib.cn/Abstract.aspx?A=syhgsb200305012 Process design involves creating specific structural forms and dimensions through design in order to meet the requirements of the process. Cost calculation, literally, refers to the manufacturing cost of the heat exchanger you design. I’m also a newcomer; could the teachers please explain it?)
I think the overall internal and external dimensions should be designed based on the airflow volume and temperature you need, and then the cost is calculated accordingly.
Process calculation involves determining the structural dimensions of the heat exchanger, the heat exchange area, the design pressure, the dimensions of the pipe connections, as well as the type of heat exchanger – in other words, it entails various thermal-related calculations and determinations. Cost calculation includes strength assessments to determine the wall thickness, the weight of the materials, the identification of various components, as well as estimates for auxiliary materials, labor costs, taxes, and profits – in other words, it determines how much money will be required.
The moderator is truly amazing – the explanation was simple and clear. I’ve learned a lot from it
