Our company uses pressure transmitters to measure the pressure at the outlet of the coking furnace, but the pressure conduits tend to get blocked (there is a isolation tank behind the primary valve). Those of you who work with coking plants, what methods do you use?
I’m not an engineer from a coking plant, but I think blowing air can be used to solve this problem – by blowing air into the pressure guiding tube, the range of the instruments can be adjusted.
Agree with the view on the second floor. The backblast method may solve the problem of easy clogging in the pressure lead pipe.
Remote transmission can solve this problem!
A remote-mounted pressure transmitter can be used.
The back-blow method is widely used.
We are in oil refining; using backblast ventilation doesn’t work
A diaphragm pressure transmitter can be used, but over time deposits will form on its surface, affecting the measurement results; therefore, it is also necessary to clean it regularly.
