The reasons for problems such as low heat transfer efficiency and high susceptibility to failure in the purified gas water cooler were analyzed. The structural forms of efficient heat exchangers characterized by thin tube sheets, corrugated tubes, bellows, and simple flow guides, along with the design calculations for relevant parameters, were introduced.
