When I was renovating the unit's process, I didn't know how to calculate the cost of seamless steel pipes. If I simply calculated the weight of the steel pipe, what would be the price of the steel? I was very confused. What I calculated was a DN100 pipe, and the insulation was 80mm thick rock wool, wrapped with galvanized iron sheet, which seemed to be 0.5 thick. How to calculate the price of this part of the insulation?
You have to go to the steel pipe supplier to inquire and quote based on tonnage. If it is a project budget, it is best to add 10-20%. For rock wool, you also have to go to the supplier to get a quote. You cannot make your own decisions behind closed doors.
