How to adjust the levelness when installing a liquid distributor in a packed tower? What measures can be taken in the design of liquid distributors to facilitate adjusting the levelness? Thanks for the advice.
After the liquid separator is installed, use a level to check it until it is level, and then fix the liquid distributor in place.
Generally, liquid distributors are assembled from various components; a surface without mechanical processing is usually used to place a level. Of course, it’s best to take thorough considerations during the structural design, but during on-site installation, it’s entirely possible to fill a transparent rubber tube with water in order to level it out. After leveling, it’s also advisable to fill the distributor with water to observe its actual distribution pattern, and make adjustments based on those observations – this is what truly matters. Level gauges are generally used on machines; using them on towers is completely unnecessary. :lol
It’s very simple: horizontal marks can be made in advance on the inner wall of the tower, and then lines can be drawn between these points to use as a reference for checking the level of installation of each distributor. In some cases, the space available for liquid distributors is limited, making it impractical to use horizontal tubes for measurement in every location, and it’s also difficult to observe the situation there!
The trough-type liquid distributor is leveled using adjustment bolts, and its levelness is checked with a water-filled transparent hose; once the levelness is within the allowable error range, the adjustment bolts are locked in place. The same principle applies to other distributors; where there is no horizontal pipe, two reference points can be found on the distributor, and markers at the same height can be used at these points to compare with the horizontal pipe. For towers with too small a diameter to allow access, liquid distributors should be designed such that they have little impact on the level distribution. Attention should be paid to the effect of wind on the verticality of the tower.
Plug the branch holes and adjust the level. If the conditions are met, a trial spray can be carried out.
It’s a great place with beautiful scenery. Support the Haichuan Forum; netizens, please offer your active support
