The relationship between the Baumé degree of fluorsilicic acid and temperature density. . . I’m asking kind people if they could send me a table for conversion calculations. . . I only know the conversion formula between specific gravity and Baumé degree; now I want to understand the relationship between volume percentage and Baumé degree. There are two types of Baumé hydrometers: one is called a weight gauge, which is used to measure liquids that are denser than water; Another type is called a light meter, which is used to measure liquids that are lighter than water. Once the specific gravity is measured, the mass percentage concentration of the solution can be easily found in the reference tables of the corresponding chemical handbook. For example, at 15°C, the specific gravity of concentrated sulfuric acid is 66ºBe; according to tables, its mass percentage concentration is 98%. Since the Baumé value is high and easy to read, it is commonly used in production to indicate the concentration of solutions (solutions of a certain concentration all have a specific density or specific gravity). The conversion to metric specific gravity is as follows: ● The density of pure water at 4°C is taken as 1 g/cm³; the ratio of the density of various other substances with the same volume to that of this \"pure water\" is used as the specific gravity, which is the metric value for specific gravity (Sp.Gr.; Specific Gravity). ●For liquids that are denser than water, their Be value is: Be = 145 – (145 ÷ SP.Gr.). For liquids that are less dense than water, their Be value is: BE = 140 ÷ (SP.Gr. – 130). This information comes from Baidu. In other words, the Baumé scale is actually related to specific gravity; first, the value in Baumé is converted to specific gravity, and then, using that specific gravity value, one can refer to a table that shows the percentage composition of different substances along with their corresponding specific gravities. There is no direct conversion between the two.
