How can methanol production be increased? ? Immediate cause?
To increase methanol production, the following points should be taken into consideration: 1. The organic S content in the feed gas must not exceed 20 mg/m3; 2. The reformate gas should have an appropriate hydrogen-to-carbon ratio of around 2.05, with a sulfur content of less than 0.1 ppm ; 3. The pressure and temperature parameters of the syngas entering the synthesis tower must meet the requirements ; 4. The temperature in the bed of synthetic copper-based catalysts is uniform, reaching the optimal temperature for catalyst performance ; 5. For methanol distillation, a three-column process is preferred, with stable control of temperature and pressure in each column. If these requirements are met, I think the methanol production volume should increase; everyone can also add their thoughts on this.
There are many factors that affect methanol production: 1. The activity of the synthesis catalyst; 2. Hydrogen-to-carbon ratio of the gas entering the tower ; 3. System pressure ; 4. Temperature ; 5. Active gas components
1. The methane content in the converted gas is less than 0.6%. 2. The hydrogen-to-carbon ratio is 2.1. 3. The temperature, pressure, and space velocity for synthesis meet the design specifications. 4. Catalyst activity 5. Effective gas components, 6. Emission amount of vent gas.
