First, anti-freezing and insulation measures should be implemented, after which the lining layer can be covered with moisture-containing straw mats; additionally, spraying water mist or steam mist can also be used for curing purposes; If it is phosphate refractory concrete, no water curing is required; it can be cured using the low temperature of the furnace heating process instead.
Lining adhesives are divided into air-setting and water-setting types. Air-setting adhesives, such as phosphates, contain little moisture; therefore, the lining can be placed without drying in an oven. Water-setting adhesives, such as various types of cement, contain more moisture, and temperatures below the freezing point of water can damage the lining, requiring curing – ideally by drying it in an oven or by raising the ambient temperature
